This sculpture is one of Dee’s earliest creations, marking the beginning of her journey in sculpting. Crafted from air-dry clay, painted with acrylics, and finished with a matte varnish, it showcases her dedication to both artistry and equine beauty.
Horses have been an integral part of Dee’s life—having ridden since the age of three and spent much of her youth and adulthood working with them. Their strength, grace, and spirit continue to shape her artistic vision, inspiring her to create as many equine sculptures as possible alongside her endangered species series.
