Dee’s Ambition to Save the World’s Wildlife
This page is a reflection of Dee’s lifelong commitment to animals, and why she chooses to sculpt wildlife—especially endangered and vulnerable species.
From a young age, Dee has rescued animals in need—from bringing home an unwanted pup to saving an ex-racehorse in dire condition. She has always stepped in when she could, offering care and compassion to those that needed it most.
Her passion for wildlife grew alongside moments spent watching nature documentaries with her grandmother, shaping her deep appreciation for the animal kingdom. As she witnessed poaching, habitat loss, illegal wildlife trade, and extinction, Dee realized she couldn't just stand by—she had to take action.
She couldn’t imagine a world without the majestic elephant, bold rhino, striped tiger, or brave lion—what kind of world would it be?
What if sharks disappeared entirely? The seas would collapse.
What if bumblebees were no more? Pollination would stop, nature would fade, and life itself would be at risk.
Dee knew she wasn’t a teacher, so education wasn’t her path. She wasn’t wealthy, so substantial donations weren’t possible. But one question remained: How could she make a difference?
The answer came in her art. Through sculpting, Dee could bring attention to the beauty and fragility of endangered wildlife, sharing their stories in a way that would inspire, connect, and raise awareness.
This page stands as a testament to that mission.

200 Sculptures, 200 Species—A Mission to Raise Awareness
With a notebook in hand and a vision in her heart, Dee sat down and numbered 1 to 200, assigning a species to each number—each representing an endangered or vulnerable animal.
This ambitious project is a commitment to sculpting 200 species, bringing attention to their beauty, their struggles, and the urgent need for conservation. Through her art, Dee hopes to highlight the stories of these creatures, ensuring they aren’t forgotten.
For each sculpture, Dee will share the process on her social media, offering insights into the animal’s current status, the threats it faces, and how many remain in the wild.
By the time she reaches her 200th sculpture, she hopes her work will have reached a wide audience, raising awareness and inspiring action.
If she can encourage just one person to make a difference, every moment spent sculpting will be worth it.
How You Can Help
